South Africa

Balla-Balla Conservancy

The most polular hunting destination in Africa

home to greater kudu, sharps grysbok cape buffalo

South Africa is a safe, friendly, and easily accessible hunting destination, making it ideal for both first-time and experienced hunters. The country offers excellent infrastructure and professional services, allowing for smooth travel, efficient logistics, and a comfortable safari experience. One of South Africa’s greatest strengths is its wide diversity of game species, offering hunters the opportunity to pursue a large variety of plains game and specialty species in different regions and habitats. From open savannas to rugged mountain terrain, hunters can experience a rich and varied African safari within a single country.

We operate one private wildlife reserve in South Africa, Balla-Balla Conservancy, offering outstanding plains game hunting in the Limpopo Province. The conservancy is nestled in the heart of the scenic Soutpansberg Mountain range, less than an hour’s drive north of Polokwane.

Covering over 25,000 acres of diverse mountain terrain and spectacular landscapes, the conservancy is well known for producing exceptional Greater Kudu, with outstanding trophies recorded each year. Established over 25 years ago, the area now supports a healthy and well-managed wildlife population, including over 450 Greater Kudu, along with species such as Baboon, Black-backed Jackal, Grey Duiker, Southern Impala, Warthog, Honey Badger, Bushpig, Mountain Reedbuck, Sharpe’s Grysbok, Klipspringer, Blue Wildebeest, Limpopo Bushbuck, Red Hartebeest, Gemsbok, Common Waterbuck, Brown Hyena, Nyala, Giraffe, Leopard, and many more.

All safaris are conducted on a strictly ethical fair-chase basis, with only naturally occurring wildlife found within the conservancy. A limited annual quota is carefully managed to ensure long-term sustainability and maintain excellent trophy quality. The conservancy also offers excellent night hunting opportunities, providing a unique experience for species that are more active after dark. These hunts are carefully managed and conducted under strict ethical and legal guidelines to ensure responsible wildlife management.

We also have access to over 200,000 acres of private concessions located close to Balla-Balla Conservancy, including several areas adjacent to the main reserve, providing additional hunting opportunities and species variety.

We invite you to experience true African hospitality and world-class hunting at Balla-Balla Conservancy in South Africa
